Francoise Read designed the stencil. Use Old Tile designs, which may be applied in so many different ways, to create your own fashionable backgrounds and decorations for your projects. I adore how Francoise used one stencil to make so many different designs. This stencil/mask is constructed of sturdy plastic and works well with mica mists as well as paint, ink, chalk, and other mediums. It also makes a terrific addition to your die cutting and embossing equipment. Simply position the mask over your object and spray. You can use many masks for a more dramatic effect, or you can rearrange the mask and do it again with a different color. When finished, merely wipe the surface. Spray the mask first for a different effect, then push paper or card over it to remove the mist before taking a print from it. For a more delicate look, dry embossing can also be done with masks. Use your roller die cutting machines with the required soft embossing mats for the utmost in simple embossing. Depending on the ink or paint selection, they can be used on paper, fabric, or any other surface.
