Memory Box always has very versatile and cute dies – the Sketch Bunny and Background were perfectly paired together to create so many different options that they were instantly added to Samantha’s Craftie Café shopping cart so that she could share two ways to create a card with them.

For the first card Samantha decided she wanted see what these bunnies would look like together. So she created a simple layout that showcased the bunnies. Samantha first die-cut the background bunnies (x6) which she then stamped using Impression Obsessions – Mini Patterns 2 – Cling Rubber Stamp and a selection of lawn fawn inks. She then die-cut the sketch bunny (outline) in co-ordinating colours that matched the inks and then adhered the pairs together. Samantha assembled her card – stamping the sentiment and adhering the six bunnies to her card front. She machine stitched a white border (optional) and added little pompoms (She wasn’t entirely sure what they’re called – but they came out of her kids craft box!) for little bunny tails.

For Samantha’s second card she created a fun shaker card!

Instead of stamping the mini patterns on the bunny background, Samantha chose to stamp them on her white card base and used the bunny (outline) sketch as her ‘windows’ for my shaker card. Once these bunnies (x3) were die-cut, Samantha adhered acetate to the back, covered the back in foam tape, added the sequins then adhered some printer (or scrap card) paper (to keep the sequins in) before adhering it to my card base. Next she die-cut the bunny (outline) in co-ordinating colours and adhered these to the front of the bunnies. She stamped her sentiment and embellished with enamel dots. Again, there is a machine stitched border for added interest (optional).

Love these fun Easter bunnies, Samantha! And like you, we cannot wait for Easter to come too!
