More than just snapping those photographs on your camera or phone there’s one way to collect memories and make it deeply personal with your creative touch -- and that is through scrapbooking. You can use not only photos but other artworks, printed media from stickers to newspaper clippings or just about anything worth “scrapping,” and even ribbons and buttons -- the possibilities are endless. Types of Scrapbook

 

Traditional Scrapbook - made out of a collection of pages fitted into page protectors and bound together. 

 

Planner Scrapbook - you'll be able to transform your plain and easy planner into something more creative and unique.

Bible Journaling - initiated by a community of creative and religious people back in the 1400s who have combined their passion for journaling and faith and turned it into a fun hobby. 

 

Digital and Hybrid Scrapbooking - It simply entails designing a layout or page on a computer and printing it out. It is one of the most modern styles of creative scrapbooking.

 

Mini Albums - are small photo books with additional ornamental features that allow you to concentrate on a single subject.

When it comes to scrapbooking, getting started is a breeze. Begin by gathering the most basic materials and tools, including paper or cardstock, adhesives, scissors, pens, embellishments, and, of course, photos!

 

There is no magic formula for making a good one. The greatest way to achieve this is to continue practising and creating. Get inspiration from other scrapbookers on the internet, and don't be hesitant to experiment with new techniques. To improve at it, you must practice it on a regular basis, just like any other skill.
